Free Palm Tree Dishcloth or Afghan Square

Free Palm Tree Dishcloth Washcloth Afghan Square Knitting Pattern

Our latest creation is a free knitting pattern for a palm tree square.  This square would work great as a palm tree washcloth or dishcloth, or you could pair it with other squares to make an afghan or blanket. I think the castle would look great with the dolphin square, the seahorse square or the anchor square. Finished square approximately 22 cm x 22 cm (8.5 inches x 8.5 inches)

Equipment:

8ply/DK/Light Worsted Weight (3) yarn and 4 mm knitting needles (US size 6, UK size 8)

Of course you can use any plain yarn with the manufacturers recommended needle size, but if it is a different weight yarn it will change the size of the square. Light, plain coloured yarns show up the image best.
