Our latest pattern is a free Luna Lovegood Amigurumi! I love Luna and her crazy sayings (or perhaps they’re not so crazy!).
I must apologize for how long it has taken to put a new pattern up – life has been absolutely crazy with the end of the school year approaching here. However, it does mean that the long New Zealand summer holidays are almost here with plenty of hours to spend with my family, enjoy the sun and create more patterns! I can’t wait! (Although there is something decidedly weird about Christmas in summer – perhaps Luna would approve!)
In case you would like to make Luna some friends there are also free patterns available for many other Harry Potter characters.
I am planning on making a series of these Amigurumi dolls, so if you would like to request a pattern for a certain character (I’ll do my best!) please let me know by commenting below.
If you would like to be updated every time I post a new pattern, please fill in the form ‘Subscribe to blog via email’ (on the right hand side on desktop view, or scroll down on mobile).
Please also take a look at our other Amigurumi patterns…

You are very welcome. I am so pleased you like the patterns 😊
Love this can it be done in knitting?
Thank you! I do have making knitting patterns for these dolls on my list of things to do, but currently they are only crochet patterns
Oh boy, i want to do Harry Potter 2019 tree so yay!
I am actually making a bunch of these for a Christmas tree this year! instead of using yarn im going to try using the crochet thread, so that they are a little smaller.

Are you supposed to turn your work after each round?
No, just keep working around 😊
Love your patterns. Am a HUGE Harry Potter fan. A friend is having a baby named Luna. How perfect. Are you doing a Voldemort pattern or Bellatrix?
Love this pattern, my granddaughter loves Luna Lovegood so hope it gets her approval 😉. Would love some more Disney Princesses please.
This is my first time making a Amigurmi and I am hooked! Thank you for pattern! Luna is my daughter’s favorite HP character.
At the end of making the torso, you say do NOT fasten off. I am thinking that is a mistake?
Glad you like it 😊 No, you don’t fasten off at the end of the torso, just continue on with the next colour
Thank you for your patterns, so far I have done Harry, Hermione, Ron, Dobby and professor Dumbledore. I am doing Luna at the moment and have a couple more patterns printed off ready to do.
