Our latest creation is a Free Professor Minerva McGonagall pattern! There are also free patterns available for many other Harry Potter characters.
I am planning on making a series of these Amigurumi dolls, so if you would like to request a pattern for a certain character (I’ll do my best!) please let me know by commenting below. Thank you so much to Carlene for suggesting McGonagall
If you would like to be updated every time I post a new pattern, please fill in the form ‘Subscribe to blog via email’ (on the right hand side on desktop view, or scroll down on mobile).

Without hat, approximately 28 cm (11 inches) tall using DK/Light Worsted Weight yarn and 3 mm crochet.
Without hat, approximately 30 cm (12 inches) tall using worsted weight yarn and 3 mm crochet hook.
Without hat, approximately 20 cm (8 inches) tall using DK/Light Worsted Weight yarn and 2.75 mm crochet hook.
You can use any yarn and crochet hook combination that gives you good tension. Normally this would be a hook at least two sizes smaller than that recommended on the yarn label.

- Crochet hook (3 mm or 2.75 mm) or appropriate

Hi Daisy,
Thank you so much for the patterns that you have created for McGonigal, Snape, Dumbledore, Ron Weasley, Hermoine Granger and Harry Potter.
I also have another suggestion, Hagred and of course, the evil Voldemort.
Thank you again.
Carlene
You are very welcome! And thank you for the suggestions, I hope to make Hagrid and Voldemort soon 🙂
Hi Daisy…thank you so much for these lovely patterns. I have just made Harry Potter (I made a tiny wand to go with mine) for my Grand-daughter (10) and am now about to make Professor McGonagall for a friend. I find your patterns really easy to follow and although I’m in the UK I have no problem translating the crochet terms. I have a 4 suggestions for characters for you consider for patterns Molly Weasley… Arthur Weasley….. Fred & George Weasley…. and Dobby. 🙂
Thank you again for all your hard work
Joan
Hi Joan,
I’m so glad you like my patterns and that they’re easy to follow 😊 I’m currently working on Dobby so he will be up in the next few days. I’ll add the Weasley’s to my list to make too!
Thanks again
Heather
Hi Daisy, I just wanted to say that I love your patterns, and am crocheting the Harry Potter Characters. Do you have anymore characters on your to do list?
Thanks!
