This free dinosaur amigurumi pattern is our latest creation. He’s a romping, stomping brontosaurus! I absolutely love dinosaurs, and seeing the latest Jurassic World movie inspired me to make this little guy. I hope you enjoy him as much as I do!

Materials
- Yarn 8 ply/DK or appropriate (see note below)
- Crochet hook (3 mm) or appropriate
- Safety eyes (optional)
- Stuffing
You can use any yarn and crochet hook combination that gives you good tension. Normally this would be a hook around two sizes smaller than that recommended on the yarn label. For the brontosaurus I used a 3 mm hook with approximately 120 grams of 8ply/DK acrylic yarn.
Crochet abbreviations (US terminology):
sc – single crochet
sl – slip stitch
dec – decrease
inc – increase
blo – crochet through back loops only
The numbers in brackets at the end of each round indicate how many stitches you should have at the end of the round

First of all thank you so much for this pattern. Super cute! I have started making it, but now I am confused. The numbers for the rounds jumps from round 24, to round 35. Does this mean I continue with rd. 24, until I reach rd. 34?
You’re very welcome! So sorry about the error in the pattern – the pattern is correct, my numbering was off. I’ve fixed it up now. Hope you have a great day! Heather
Thank you for your response. I am almost finished with this cute little fellow. Love it! Have a blessed day!
Can’t wait to try this! Just wondering if you have ever considered a YouTube channel where you do tutorials?? I would so subscribe!!
I loved making this dinosaur for my son and he absolutely loves it. Thank you for the lovely pattern.
