For this little apple tree applique you will need:
Small amounts of the following coloured yarn:
Green
Red
Brown
A crochet hook that gives suitable tension. I used 8ply/DK yarn and a 3mm hook.
Leaves:
Round 1: Make a magic ring and sc 6 into the ring (6)
Round 2: inc around (12)
Round 3: sc 3, (sc 3 in next st) 3 times, sc 3, (sc 3 in next st) 3 times (24)
Round 4: (sl, dc 3 in next st, dc 3 in next st, sl) 6 times.
Fasten off.
Apples (make 3):
Round 1: Make a magic ring and sc 4 into the ring. Fasten off.
Trunk:
Row 1: ch 3, starting with the second stitch from the hook sc 2.
Row 2-9: ch 1, sc 2
Finish by slip stitching all around the outside of the trunk to neaten the edges. Fasten off.
Attach pieces together either by gluing or sewing.
