You will need small amounts of yellow and orange wool and a crochet hook that gives good tension (I used a 3 mm hook and 8ply/DK yarn).
Round 1: make a magic ring and sc 6 into the ring
Round 2: sc inc in every stitch (12)
Round 3: sc inc in every stitch (24)
Round 4: Change to orange and sl in the back loops every stitch.
Round 5: (sl in black loop, chain 4, hdc in 2nd stitch from hook, dc in next stitch, tr in next stitch, skip 3 stitches on main part of the sun) 6 times
Fasten off.
